October 1986 by the present owner/editor
Julie Walls (Paulin).

weeks, with a circulation of 6,500. These
copies are distributed within the Te Anau
Basin, Northern Southland area (including
Lumsden and Mossburn), Tuatapere,Christchurch
Airport, Queenstown Airport, Queenstown selected outlets, Southern Scenic Route, Rotorua selected outlets, throughout the South Island
and Information Centres from Stewart Island
to Nelson,.
The Fiordland Focus has always retained
its community identity and character of
which Julie is justifiably proud of. The
only difference between the first publication
to the current publication is merely physical,
as Julie has tried to keep in line with
the continuing trends of publishing.
The Southern Scenic Route publication, which
was first printed in 2000, has a single
print run of 30,000 copies. The publication
is a visitor guide to the most diverse scenic
route in the South Island and more information
is on the Southern Scenic Route link.
